+IS IT NECESSARY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR CONSULTATION OR CAN I JUST WALK IN?

No, during office hours you may walk-in for a consultation on a first-come-first-served basis. The usual waiting time is less than 30 minutes. However, off-hours consultations need to be scheduled in advance.

+HOW CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR CATARACT SURGERY?

You need to be evaluated for cataract before surgery can be scheduled. In case such an evaluation has already been done at Insight, you may call 25440850 during office hours, mention your identification details, and schedule surgery directly. In case the evaluation has not been done or was done more than six months ago, please schedule a consultation, and the surgery will be discussed at that time.

+I HAVE A MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY/OFFICE SPONSORSHIP. IS IT POSSIBLE TO AVAIL CASHLESS CATARACT SURGERY FACILITY?

Yes, most medical insurance policies and corporate medical covers are honoured. For your specific policy, please bring a copy of your insurance papers and identity card issued by the TPA.

+IS IT SAFE TO GET CATARACT SURGERY DONE DURING THE SUMMERS OR THE RAINY SEASON?

Yes, you may choose to have cataract surgery done at any time. There is no reason to avoid a particular season for cataract surgery.

Detailed patient records are maintained at Insight Eye Clinic right from the first day of operations. If you have ever visited Insight, we will have records of your eye condition at that time. It is possible to retrieve these records and re-issue prescriptions, but since this information is highly confidential, you will need to visit the clinic personally to avail of this facility.
